Will this feel like cardboard?

No. The shirt is dyed after it is sewn, so it arrives already broken in, and the ink soaks into the cotton instead of sitting stiff on top.

One honest note: garment dye shifts a little between batches, so two shirts in the same color can sit a shade apart.

How do I make it last for years?

Wash it cold and inside out, with darks at the start. Tumble dry low or hang it. It gets softer the more you wear it.

Sizing notes

  • Width: measured across the chest, 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the armhole when laid flat.
  • Length: measured from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
  • Tolerance: each tee can vary by about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in width and 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) in length, because it is dyed after it is sewn.
  • Fit: these tees have a relaxed, boxy fit. For an oversized look, size up one or two sizes.
